Criminal Behaviour Order for Prolific Shoplifter |

Rebecca Eva Fisher, 39, of East Mount Flats in Scarborough appeared at Scarborough Magistrates Court on Monday 30 March 2026, charged with several thefts from retail premises.
Fisher was given an 8-week sentence, suspended for 12 months as well as a 6-month drug rehabilitation requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement of 25 days. She was also ordered to pay compensation to several businesses.
Fisher was also made the subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order, lasting 10 years with the following conditions: Fisher must not: • Enter the BALMORAL CENTRE, SCARBOROUGH for any reason. • Enter any TESCO store in SCARBOROUGH for any reason. • Enter any SAINSBURY’S store in SCARBOROUGH or WHITBY for any reason. • Enter any B&M store in SCARBOROUGH or WHITBY for any reason. • Enter BOOTS, Westborough, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter The Co-operative, Newlands Park Drive, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter Poundland, Westborough, Scarborough for any reason • Enter HERON FROZEN FOODS, Newborough, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter T.K. MAXX, Waterhouse Lane, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter BOYES DEPARTMENT STORE, Queen Street, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter WH SMITH, Westborough, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter Newby Service Station, Scalby Road, Scarborough for any reason. • Enter ANY ONESTOP SHOP in SCARBOROUGH for any reason. • Enter Morrisons Local, Westwood, Scarborough for any reason. • The Spa store, Falsgrave, Scarborough for any reason Fisher has also been ordered that she must leave any commercial premises when asked to do so by a member of staff.
Breaching this order is a criminal offence, which means that should Fisher not abide by the conditions, then she could be imprisoned for up to a period of 5 years. | ||
